Contacts & Groups
Manage your audience by organizing contacts into groups for targeted messaging.
Adding Contacts
There are several ways to add contacts:
Manual Entry
- Go to Data → Contacts
- Click Add Contact
- Enter name, phone, and optional email
- Select groups (optional)
- Click Save
CSV Import
- Click Import CSV
- Upload a CSV file with columns: name, phone
- Map columns if needed
- Select target group for imported contacts
- Click Import
Auto-Save from Auto Reply
- Edit an Auto Reply rule
- Enable Save Contact
- Select target groups
- When triggered, the sender is automatically saved
AI Detection
- AI can detect when customers share their name
- Automatically updates contact names
- Original name is preserved for reference
Contact Groups
Groups help you organize contacts and target specific audiences for campaigns and broadcasts.
- Navigate to Data → Groups
- Click Create Group
- Enter a Name and optional description
- Click Save
Assigning Contacts to Groups
You can assign contacts to groups in several ways:
- When creating/editing a contact - Select groups in the contact form
- When importing CSV - Choose a target group for all imported contacts
- Via Auto Reply - Auto-saved contacts are added to specified groups
- Bulk action - Select multiple contacts and assign to a group
Tip: A contact can belong to multiple groups. Use this for segmentation (e.g., a contact can be in both "Customers" and "Newsletter" groups).
Using Groups for Targeting

| Campaigns | Select groups as targets - all contacts in those groups receive the campaign |
| Broadcasts | Select groups as recipients for bulk messaging |
| Auto Reply | Whitelist/Blacklist groups to control who receives auto replies |
| AI Agent | Whitelist/Blacklist groups to control who the AI responds to |
Phone Number Format
Phone numbers are automatically normalized to the format:
628xxxxxxxxxx
- No need for + prefix
- 0812... is converted to 62812...
- +62812... is converted to 62812...
